A comprehensive report on KPC's results from 2012 quiz is coming soon.  Until then, here is brief summary from one of our members:

Another year of Quiz Rally has come and gone and this year we had an exceptional turn out! We sent a team of upper level C’s (C2’s and an HB) and a team of younger C’s as well as numerous D’s! We completed the written test, barn phase, mega room, classroom, and stations. My team ended up first overall, Heather finished 3rd, and I finished 4th. We were the dominant team in stations, mega room, and classroom. In barn phase we were asked questions about lunging, feed charts, and bandages. In classroom all our questions were based around anatomy and vet knowledge. In stations we had anything from a double bride, to teeth, to Polocrosse, to lamenesses. Mega room this year had a skull, digestive tract, odd equipment, ornate bits, and different kinds of safety snaps used in the barn. There were many things that my team did know and many things that we didn’t know but learned while at Quiz. We didn’t know much about the rules or setup of Polocrosse but we learned a lot from the station and our TD Dalles Philips. The great thing about Quiz is if you don’t already know something you’re bound to learn about it there! One of the most interesting things for me was the way that they ask questions for the upper level participants. I was the only HB there so when I asked for an HA question they had to give me two B level questions. It surprised me at how simple or how intricate some of the questions could be! Time to start studying for Quiz 2013!
