Some comments and highlights from attendees at Susan Harris' recent dressage clinic:

"Hey Everyone!  A few weeks ago Mrs. Walden organized a great Dressage Clinic with Susan Harris.  I want to say a big thank you to her.  We all really learned a lot.  The big thing we learned is the Dressage Training Pyramid.  It is about the steps to take to get your horse ready for upper level dressage.  It is a long term process that we all need to be working on.  We practiced riding without our stirrups trotting and cantering. We also practiced keeping our horses balanced in every gait.  The main thing though that we worked on was our basic balanced position.  We all got a lot of really good tips.  Susan Harris is a really good teacher.  She really helped us all individually.  She was very patient and positive!  We all hope that she comes back next year.  I want to make sure and thank Mrs. Walden for all of her hard work.  We really appreciate it!!  I can't wait until the Jumping Clinic.  I hope to see everyone there!!!"  --Lizzie

"Susan Harris really helped me with my dressage. She taught me the importance of expecting more of my horse and of myself. I learned how to leg yield and perform the 'nose-to-wall' drill. I am so glad she was able to teach the clinic!" --Hope
